Mothers of Preschoolers National Convention
Schenk Photography pushed the cutting edge of creativity to the limit at the 2004 MOPS Convention held at Gaylord Opryland Hotel. MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, a dynamic program designed to nurture mothers with children from infancy to kindergarten. The MOPS theme for 2004 is “Fresh Fruit, Growing a Life that Matters,” molded after the Fruits of the Spirit (Galations 5: 22-23).
Weeks of brainstorming and photographing real fruit led to a menu of fun and exciting photo options for moms attending the conference. Moms were photographed in front of a green screen, and six computer-generated images were developed. The most popular photo was a kitchen canister filled with fruit, that mom’s were digitally placed inside. Whether a single mom or a group of 18, sitting in our canister was a huge hit.
The cover of MOPS periodical MOMSense was replicated, with space for a customized headline awarding the “MOP of the Year Award.”
Over 5600 moms browsed the Resource Fair, and hundreds took home a one-of-a-kind fruity Schenk Photography photo. Our thanks to those who patronized our fun-filled booth, and those who emailed us afterward.
